DISCOVER RIO DE JANEIRO HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE
TOUR INFORMATION
The city of Rio de Janeiro received the title of the first World Capital of Architecture by UNESCO.
Is the first time that a city has received this designation – created in 2018 in partnership between UNESCO and the International Union of Architects (UIA).
In 2012, UNESCO had already granted Rio with the title of World Cultural Heritage in Urban Landscape category. With this designation of World Capital of Architecture, Rio is responsible for organizing the World Congress of the International Union of Architects in 2021, previously scheduled for July 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed to 2021.
If you are a lover of architecture and sympathizer of history, come and enjoy with us, on this tour, the true integration of our natural beauties and those built by the genius of our masters of architecture over the centuries.
The city of Rio has already left valuable references in the history of architecture. Over its few centuries, it underwent substantial transformations of great magnitude, with complex techniques of contemporary engineering and urbanism. Few cities have had such a significant change in their original topography.
We have an eclectic mix of architectural styles and urban landscape revered by the world for its natural conditions. The title of World Capital of Architecture is the fair decoration of this story.
This tour aims to introduce the city of Rio to supporters and lovers of history and architecture. Come! Enjoy and discover the way Rio grew in the space between the sea and the mountains.

ADVANTAGES OF A PRIVATE TOUR
- Optimization of your time and money, visiting and staying in the places of interest, without delays from other tourists, which unfortunately happens in group tours.
- Private and exclusive tour guide.
- Exclusive transport, with total convenience. In a group tour, on the other hand, transport is shared and often crowded, putting your family and/or friends' health at risk (COVID19).
- More detailed explanation, being able to direct the information to the points of your interest and of your companions. Infinite number of questions are allowed, as this is an interpersonal relationship.
- There are no stops at pre-established restaurants and shops and tourist catchers.
- Flexible schedules, allowing you to get to places when they are empty. Unlike a group tour, visiting hours generally coincide with other tours, crowding out attractions.
- Custom-made itineraries to visit only the places you and your fellow travelers want.
- More time to take pictures, wander around and stay where you and your companions are most interested. Without having the hassle of tourists who are late, get lost and hinder the progress of your tour.
- Ride at your own pace and that of your fellow travelers. Stay where you and your fellow travelers are most interested.
